Who's ready to shiver? The Polar Plunge is returning to Valley-Wide Recreation and Park District's Diamond Valley Aquatic Center at 9 a.m. Saturday, January 4, 2025, and there is an opportunity for nonprofit organizations to participate -- and raise money.

The Polar Plunge offers a chance to jump or slide into the unheated swimming pool at Diamond Valley Aquatic Center. The water temperature is usually in the 40s at that time of the year,

Participants and guests will be asked to give to the participating charity of their choice. Each organization will keep all the money donated to them. Those who donate at least $10 get an event T-shirt.
